I lived the life with you for years
مكتوب نودعها أيامك
It is written to say farewell to your days
الله يقدرني على نسيانك
May God help me to forget you
نبكي على العمر ألي راح
We cry over the life that has gone
نبكي نعاني في الجراح
We cry, we suffered in the wound
خليتي قلبي ليش حزين
Why did you make my heart sad?
يعاني منك ليه سنين
It is suffering from you since years
مكتوب نودعها أيامك
It is written to say farewell to your days
الله يقدرني على نسيانك
May God help me to forget you
الي بيني وبينك مات
What was between me and you is dead
صار ماضي وذكريات
It became past and memories
نا ولفتك قلبك خان
I got used to you, your heart betrayed
باع الود وعهد زمان
It sold the cordiality and the promise of time
مكتوب نودعها أيامك
It is written to say farewell to your days
الله يقدرني على نسيانك
May God help me to forget you

خترت الفرقة وقلبك راضي
I chose the separation and your heart accepted it
should be: you chose.

نا ولفتك قلبك خان
And the lethality, your heart got crazy
should be: I got used to you, your heart betrayed

باع الود وعهد زمان
It sold the fancy and the promise of the world
should be: it sold the cordiality and the promise of time

صار ماضي وذكريات
The past and the memories are gone
should be :
it became past and memories
