The Storm (Somebody To Save Us)

Been working on this for awhile, and I finally think its finished. Tell me what you think. Parenthesis are back-up singer lyrics. If you've heard the song Play Crack The Sky by Brand New, thats the style it'll be sung and played.

The song is filled with metaphors. I got my inspiration from basically just going through it, and wanting to write a song about the sea that has metaphors towards a breaking relationship. You can do so much with metaphors about the sea and I love it, you can tell your whole story without even saying a word about it and people will get it and relate and say "God, I've been there."

I got a lot of inspiration from these songs too,

The Storm:

The storms rolling in, can you hear the thunder off in the distance?
Watch as the clouds start to move in
Can you feel the rain as it starts to fall down your face?
We thought it'd slow down
