This is my first go at writing lyrics and I would just like to hear any feedback, negative or positive. Or any sugjestions or ideas, thank you!
It's about my senior summer coming to an end

For as long as we’ve hated this town
I wish we all could stick around
I don’t feel like getting older
I’m happy where we are
So don’t go so far,
From me
Don’t let me think about what could be
Lets stay here
And live
Forever young in the summer time

Cause when we grow up
We show up
To become what we never wanted to be
You’ll being wearing a suit and tie

The summer is over
With the care free times

I remember
Hanging out watching movies
Just to watch the time go by
We never realized how soon we’d have to say goodbye
I hope to see you again
And we’ll stay in touch
But the summer came to an end
And so did the rush

We’ve all had our chances to be here
And now we’re all gone, gone away
We’ve moved on
So think of me later
When you hear this song

In this boring town we all wanted to get out
But I realize now I want to stay

I saw your new post and your name seeemed familiar, so I back-tracked in your old posts. I'm disappointed that no one commented on this because I think it has a really classic (and kinda classy) feei to it. Your first effort? Very nice!
