(*) How do you learn to roll your rrrr's?

ok so not a translation but i'm assuming most people on here speaking spanish can roll their rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr's.

I've been having trouble with this for ever! I am now at a point where i can slightly trill when i say basic words but it is no where near a solid rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

i really need help cause it's ruining my whole accent when speaking spanish so sometimes it puts me off even singing a song because i sound stupid .

please give me tips or advice that help you. Muchas gracias a todos, besos

It was once said to me that saying the phrase "Pot of Tea" over and fastly could help produce the rrrrr sound! Hope this helps!!

I also saw there are plenty of practical videos about this on youtube, although I have really no idea which one is the most effective. Personally, I can't be of much help either, as I only remember practicing it a lot and without any guide when I was a kid... anyway, I hope any of the links will help!!

thanks - the cup of tea method doesnt work for me cus when i say that i barely move my tongue but the links were a good help - on one it said something bout saying butter ladder and about how to put your tongue. thanks to both of you guys

I can't roll my rrrrr's to save my life. If I manage a little of the flutter, I can't make a sound on top of that and it takes so much air to get the flutter that I get light headed. lol So I must be doing something wrong.

haha well i think i kinda cheat when i roll (if you can call it that) my rrrrr's cus its just like i flip my tongue of my top teeth so i cant really do it but the butter thing is helping a little. if you say butter but just burrrrrrrrrrrrr lol i will get it dang it oh my its a curse being english
