Solved: "Run down the street like a wild horse"?

I heard a song on the radio a while ago (twice on two different days so maybe it's a new song? But I'm not sure) which I've been searching for since but with no success.

It's sung by a woman who sounds a bit like Suzanne Vega (the singer who sang "Tom's Diner") and it's accompanied by a guitar. In the chorus she sings something like "I'm on my own again. My baby is gone, I'm on my own again"

The only other line I remember is a very distinctive one - which is why I put it into the title - which I still haven't been able to find anywhere: "(?Baby's?) run down the street like a wild horse"

Any help finding to song would be greatly appreciated, I've been searching for weeks now.
