Care To Create

(1)How can anyone ever know what art is
or even who to call an artist?
And what does it really mean to exsist,
resisit, persist, or enlist?
(2)What if how we act on the outside
isnt who we are on the inside?
Are we Jekyll or Mr. Hyde?
We're still ****ed up even when we try.
(3)And who are they to say what's real,
that it has all been revealed?
But life is a roulette wheel,
don't expect it to be ideal.
(4)Well I'm still waiting on my New Deal
while they're working hard to conceal
what they blame on foriegn zeal.
Eat it up boys, enjoy your meal.

(1)I am drinking the day away again
well there's no need to be sober, friend
I don't feel like I should have to transcend,
pretend, defend, or rescind.
(2)But I believe that all you need is love,
and that its nothing you can ever fall short of.
Well its something I will always be in awe of.
Love is better than any other kind of drug.
(3)Well it seems to be difficult to concentrate
now that I've quit trying to self medicate.
I'm feeling my depreciation rate
as I grow old in this lone star state.
(4)But I hope to God I'm not too late
That the hate hasn't yet to saturate
And that the will to care and to create
will never ever ever abate...
