I've got the story to it...

Unfortunately I don't know the lyrics - at all, in fact whatever I try to google comes up with some weird songs and the ones that I've listened to don't sound anything like it But, there's a specific song that sounds kind of like Linkin Park, the story of it is that he had a dream that he died and she was the only one there... and the chorus says something about remembering the good times and to make the memories worthwhile.... And make it so his life has meaning so when he passes away he doesn't leave bad memories.

It was really popular on the radio about a year ago and no mater how hard I try I can not for the life of me remember how it goes. I know it sounds a lot like Linkin Park but I could be completely off - any thoughts on the matter? D:
