heeeeeeelpppp "just because it is the night doesn't mean you have to go now baby"
What's the name of this song?
I heard this song on the Mercy commercial in Mexico
I know all the lyrics but I can't find it anywhere
'just because it is the night doesn't mean you have to go now baby,
you could stay and make it right or we could run away now maybe.
just because it is the night why should it be us to feel so lonely,
with the shimmer of the light comes the flicker of the heartbeat
faster than your heartbeat, quicker than my heartbeat
hold me tight'
here is the promo

Well after doing a search it seems you're not alone. There appears to be many many people out there all looking for this.
I'm beginning to think it was done specifically for the program
Only suggestion I can make is to contact them, and after all the reading I've done, it would appear it's NBC.

Sorry can't be of more help.

You may be able to contact them via this information. Good luck.
"Born and raised in sleepy-ford, Jim Oxborrow woke up in Brighton. Jim and John went to the same school but never met there. Many years and a twist of fate later, they did. The first song they wrote had something they both liked so they continued, writing, recording and developing the chemistry that has become Ox.
Drummer Jimi Ashmore heard these early ramblings and wanted to join the party.
With a bit more work these bedroom recordings turned into the debut mini-album ‘Blood’ which was released January 2005 on indie label Co-Pop. (Distributed by Universal)
So far, Ox have played Radio1 Live, recorded live sessions for Radio 2, Juice FM & BBC SCR.
They have recently demoed new material at EMI Music Publishing studios in London.
‘Blood’ has received great reviews in The Sunday Telegraph critic’s choice and fanzines across the country, the NME have reviewed them live.'
Tracks from the CD have also been featured in the U.S. radio show ‘Passport Approved’ "

Hello to all! I'm from Mexico, too. I've found the song with the help from a girl on Mercy's forum at Facebook. I've downloaded and it's now available for us all. Enjoy it! http://www.box.net/shared/5g0ms7bojr
