I recently wrote this song, but I'm not a native speaker
so I'd like to know what you think about it


Love keeps an eye

There is one thing in life we don't understand.
It accompanies us always
and sometimes it seems to be our friend,
and our worst enemy the other day.

Chorus:

No matter where we go,
how much time passes by
even if the tides are low

We can not chose a life without love.
Since our first breath it is a part of us
isolated we'd die, thus
we need to keep it above.

Love can not be bought
by prestige or when you are admired.
It doesn't obey any mastery
or payed tangency.

Bridge:
It grows,
if we show that we care
it rises when we share
it stays even though our emotion flows.

When we don't have the love we need
our mind gets fitful, without a helping hand,
hurting us with its strangest thoughts heat.
We are responsable for the love we demand.

Its physical part often seems to be our aim
but it's just a sallow shadow
keeping our mind low.
Love is more than a desire that you can claim.

We are searching all the time
a thing that you can't just simply find.
It needs care and time like precious vine,
faith and an honest mind.
