Hi again everyone. I've got several questions about this song.

Are the genitive and the accusative cases interchangeable here? In other words does "...να πεις μια καλημέρα στη ζωή" mean the same?

What does it mean? Even if your words are wasted?

Since death is mentioned in the previous lines (Με τα χαράματα σαν βγεις / Από την πόρτα της ζωής) does ΜΕΣ στη γη refer to lying berried in the ground or rather to being all alone in the world?

    Yes!

    2. Πες τη κι ας πέσει χάμω What does it mean?

Please read this thread -> http://www.allthelyrics.com/forum/gr...n/71204-a.html

    3. Since death is mentioned in the previous lines
These are fully οptimistic lyrics...... No Death in there!!!!!!

Should be translated as: even if you're all alone ON earth!

I know that "μες στη γη" normally means "inside earth" = burried
but in this case probably caused of the rythm of the song it wasn't written as
it should aka "πάνω στη γη"
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"

Once again thank you very much!!!
So I had come close to the meaning of πες το κι ας πέσει χάμω, but you really know how to explain uuuuuhhhh.... word-paintingly. )) So I got the idea.
As for the "lying buried" idea, it came from the conviction that "βγαίνω από την πόρτα της ζωής" meant to die. )) But I corrected it.
    Thank you again!
