KEEPIN' ME DOWN AGAIN

Perseverance.
Perseverance is not a matter of choice.
Some are set to fail, derail.
Others just sail, oh so smoothly.
I am in league with the former.
Doomed to walk inches behind forever.

Lost intentions pave the surface.
A car nearly finds it's way, then reverses.
Situation almost resolved when it worsens.
These curses keeping me down again.

Interference.
Finding interference in every ****ing thing I do.
Try to start anew, but I'm still nailed down by the old.
My skull begins to break and I continue to fold.
The lights dim and it becomes cold.

Assurance.
I need assurance so I may stand upon solid ground.
Days long gone stalk me like a starving hound.
Turns my life into a viscious game of hide and seek.

Tired, but never weak.

I will persevere.
None will interfere.
I am more than assured.
To go down like this is absurd

how are you doing your recording just out of interest? like are you in a band, or you gunna do it all yourself? either way it will be cool to hear, I think its one thing writing lyrics and a whole other making them into songs. I really wanna record some of mine at some point, my mates got a little 8 track digital recorder which is pretty cool. If you could give my new ones a read I would be greatful

I've got a lot on my plate right now, but it's near the top of my list. It's just me, but I've got people that can help me with recording. A local church has a recording studio that they've given me permission to use, so one of these days...
