Solid song. What I'm assuming is a bridge, the stanza starting with "Tore our pictures off the wall" is pretty sweet. If anyone burned my favorite sweat shirt i'd be pissed! lol The hook is great except for one line; "It's a cycle in repeat". That just kind of seems redundant to me, but that's just one person's opinion. Overall good job! Keep writing!

Well, it's a love hate relationship with hate prevailing and love on its way out. I can't imagine falling in love again with someone after having burned her favorite sweat shirt. But anyway it's a powerful song that Pink might like to sing.

I really didn't burn it. It's just in one of my drawers, I used that as dramatic effect, and I got that sweat shirt before we broke up. We share the same friends, his sis is my closest friend, I am considered family so they all try to push us back together. It's a complicated situation. I did burn our letters and pictures. My point was that we some how just fall in love, break up and he hates me then I end up hating him, but that this was the final break up. I ment to change the wording on the last part but I forgot. He really is the devil.

When I first came across this song,I kind of skimmed through it.The reason is this;if there are no rhymes,I usually don't relate to the style of songwriting,and don't have much to say.Then I saw that Peter Both had replied.I took another look and love this!It reminds me of a couple of mine;Never Say Never and Diablo Diane.Well done!
