This site is a tremendous blessing. Thank you everyone for sharing the worship of our Lord in both languages. Through this site, many on both sides of the language barrier are blessed and draw closer to our Lord.

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

    Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
    Beginning and the end

    My heart will sing
    How great is our God

Hi from Mexico. I would suggest only these corrections:

Tu eres el único que necesito
RENDÍ todo de mí a tus pies
    te adoro solamente a ti

Tu me has dado más DE LO QUE
    Jamás habría podido desear
y quiero darte mi corazón y mi ser

    SOLO TU eres Padre
    SOLO TU eres bueno
    SOLO TU eres Salvador y

Default Some Spanish Christian CDs to look for

I have seen lots of references to Christian artists who sing in Spanish on this forum. Here are some more; some you all may be aware of, and others you might not be (artist first, followed by "album name")

    Fernando Ortega "Camino Largo"
Alvaro Lopez & Res-Q-Band "The Project"
Juan Luis Guerra & 4.40 "Para Ti"
Salvador "Que Tan Lejos Está El Cielo"
Yuri "Que tu fé nunca muera"

Many of the songs are church friendly, in that they can easily be sung in church. Those that aren't necissarily church friendly, are awesome songs for God nonetheless. I will post some lyrics in Spanish/English soon. These discs have been an inspiration to me, as has this forum. Having read all 17 pages of it, I felt compelled to join.

    God Bless,

    Default Translated Hymns

I have seen lots of references to new songs recycling older lyrics and ideas, but sometimes, you cannot beat the original. For those of you who do not have it, here is Holy, Holy, Holy, (English lyrics by Reginald HeberTranslated by J. B. Cabrera, music by John B. ****s):

    ¡Santo! ¡Santo! ¡Santo! (Holy Holy Holy)

    ¡Santo! ¡Santo! ¡Santo! Señor omnipotente,
siempre el labio mío loores te dará
    ¡Santo! ¡Santo! ¡Santo! te adoro reverente,
Dios en tres personas, bendita Trinidad.

    ¡Santo! ¡Santo! ¡Santo!, en numeroso coro,
Santos escogidos te adoran sin cesar
De alegría llenos, y sus coronas de oro
Rinden ante el trono y el cristalino mar.

¡Santo! ¡Santo! ¡Santo! por más que es tés velado,
    E imposible sea tu gloria contemplar;
Santo tú eres sólo, y nada hay a tu lado
En poder perfecto, pureza y caridad.

¡Santo! ¡Santo! ¡Santo! la gloria de tu nombre
    vemos en tus obras en cielo, tierra y mar;
    ¡Santo! ¡Santo! ¡Santo! te adorará todo hombre,
Dios en tres personas, bendita Trinidad. Amén

Come, Thou Fount (of Every Blessing) (lyrics in English by Robert Robertson, translated by T. M. Westrup; melody is traditional American)

Fuente de la vida eterna (Come Thou Fount)

    1
Fuente de la vida eterna y de toda bendición,
ensalzar tu gracia tierna debe todo corazón.
Tu piedad inagotable, abundante en perdonar,
Unico ser adorable, gloria a Tii debemos dar.

    2
De los cánticos celestes te quisiéramos cantar,
    entonados por las huestes que lograste rescatar;
    Almas son que redimiste, porque les tuviste amor;
De ellas te compadeciste con tiernísimo amor.

    3
Toma nuestros corazones, llénalos de tu verdad,
    de tu Espíritu los dones, y de toda santidad;
    Guíanos en la obediencia, humildad, amor y fe;
nos ampare tu clemencia; Salvador, propicio sé.

Default Where did you find it?

I have looked through no less than ten different hymnals, some very old, to find this hymn in English. None of them have it. References online are rare too. My Spanish hymnal does not have anything that looks as though it might be your hymn. Good luck.

    Default Need help

    Hello all,

I am looking for the Spanish lyrics to the classic hymn "I Will Sing of My Redeemer" (English lyrics by Philip Bliss, melody by James McGranahan). For those who don't know the tune, the lyrics in English go like so:

    Verse 1:
"I will sing of my Redeemer, and his wondrous love to me; On the cruel cross He suffered, from the curse to set me free."
    Chorus
"Sing O sing of my Redeemer, With his blood He purchased me; On the cross He sealed my pardon, Paid the debt and made me free".

The version in my church's hymnal is 4 verses long. Any verses in Spanish would be good. I could translate it myslef, but would prefer an existing translation.

I'm from Stockton Calif and yes this is an old song but a beautiful song of worship we sing it down here I know our pastor told me he use to sing that song in L. A. the church he was from before he came down here.

"Thank you for trying to look for it for me"

Hi...just wanted to let you know that that song is called, "Be Blessed" and here are the words...God bless you! kjr

    Be Blessed by Yolanda Adams
    [Verse 1:]
Too many storms have passed your way
And you're all washed out cause it rained on your parade
Seems nobody cares about you anyway
Now you're living your life like a castaway
Searched for strength inside was it all in vain
Cause the deeper you dig you find more and more pain
Don't let your tomorrow be like yesterday
Cause I spoke to God, I called out your name
And on your behalf, I just asked if He would be there for you
    I want you to

    [Chorus:]
Be Blessed, Don't live life in distress
Just let go, let God, He'll work it out for you
I pray that your soul will be blessed
Forever in his rest, Cause you deserve his best no less

    [Verse 2:]
Enter a place where you never have to cry
Never have to live a lie, never have to wonder why
Never want for nothing you're always satisfied
In the peace that his arms will provide
He will erase any guilt or shame, any bad habits you've got
You won't wanna do em again, Yes we all can change, I can testify
See I spoke to God, I called out your name
And on your behalf, I just asked, If he would be there for you
    I want you to

    [Repeat Chorus]

My prayer for you today, Is that you trust and always obey
On this day keep calling [choir]
On this day keep calling [solo]
He'll keep you from falling [choir]
He'll keep you from falling [solo]
    He'll supply the answers [choir]
Yes He will, if you stand in faith and trust Him to make a way out of no way [solo]

    [Repeat Chorus]

Be blessed from the bottom of your feet to the crown of your head
    Your life be blessed
    Your family be blessed
    Your finances be blessed
    Everything about you

    Here is the song:

This song is by Danny Berrios and the tittle is "Se que mi Cristo vive"

    Eres Real en mi Corazón

Eres el único y cierto camino
