Quite a haunting song with a male vocalist. . .

Chorus something like: "I've ne-ver met anyone quite like y-ou. . . be-fore"

Followed by a chorus of female chants that are EXTREMELY distinctive & prominent and really define the song. . .

Song's probably about 3-4 years old and was reasonably popular in its day. . .

Sure it's not Edwyn Collins' "A Girl Like You" (made famous in the "Empire Records" movie)?
