Okay I heard this song in American Eagle a while ago and I just saw it on a commercial. Its a younger guy singin (like a john mayer type) and playin the guitar in a room with people dancing around him. the only lyric i know is this, he sings, "and thats the way I like it." thats all. thanks

I heard a song last week while in Hollister, American Eagle, or Abercrombie.. it was a remake of an Alison Krauss song and it sounded very dance-y -- can anyone help me out with the name of the song or the artist or both?

i was in american eagle maybe a week or two ago and i heard this song and its driving me crazy trying to figure out who sang it. i'm not quite sure how the lyrics went but it was something like "you're not allowed to be in my life" or something, wow i really dont remember but it was sort of punkish. if anyone knows which song that is and who sings it i would be forevvver in you debt!!

Okay I was in AE the other day and I heard some kind of girl version to Lean wit it rock wit it but that was the only part that i heard, not sure if its the same song with a girl singing it or if its just a part of the song...it sounded ALOT like ciara tho....can anyone help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I just got myself an account in this forum so I could tell you that.

Ive been in AE a few times in the past few weeks and theres this one song thats part of the store advertisements. Its about 30 seconds long or so with the AE logos and all that. The distinguising feature is the powerful, driven bass line through the song. It kinda reminds me of an punk/alt-punk strong bass line. otherwise, i dont remember anything else about the tune. does anyone know what this one is?

we're putting out the first round of the fall stuff next weekend (26th), so we should start playing a new dvd around then, probably the week after if i had to guess.

ok so i've been hearing this song on the radio and mostly from AE! its the song that plays on your comercial! i dont remember how it goes cuz its a fast song... something like "c'mon everybody to the end with me " hah idk i think thats what i heard!! please help im desperate!

i'm guessing it's 'nth degree' by morningwood.

but the new ok go song 'do what you want' says c'mon c'mon a lot, and it's on a commercial for something, so perhaps that's it.

hopefully the new ok go video shows up on our new dvd.. we played a million ways awhile back and that was fun to watch. their new video looks better though because they dance on treadmills.

ok. so i'm thinking people need to be more specific with their descriptions of songs because most of them i have no clue what songs everyone is asking for and i pretty much have the whole dvd memorized.


now here are some tips for asking about a song.
-first, give a listen to ae radio at ea.com.
-if you can't find the song there give us all the lyrics you know or kind of know or maybe know.
-and tell us if it's a male or female singing.
-also, tell us what genre or type it is. ex. hip hop, punk, techno..you get the idea.
-and tell us about the video.
-lastly, we don't really need to be told you were at american eagle the other day because duh, we know.
-oh and next time you're in ae and hear a song you like..maybe go take a look at the song title and artist for yourself?

That song is by one of my favorite bands - Snow Patrol! It's called "Hands Open".

My store started playing the new DVD today! It is entirely downtempo songs because of the Aerie launch.

Over My Head is on it. Also "Catch My Disease" is played 3 times throughout the 3.25 hour long DVD. Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol is on it.

i think the aerie dvd is only being played for a week or two, then we get a new dvd for fall 2.

ok, so i lied.. we're playing the aerie dvd through the first week of october.

we just had our meeting tonight. it was funny because one of the guys on staff was like, 'can i cross out girls and put guys?'. and then some of the responses written on the 'i love aerie because..' papers were pretty funny too.. '..i get to look at sexy bustforms all day'; 'butt chunk' (inside joke). at least we have fun at our meetings, otherwise they'd be pretty boring (more than they are, anyway)

the new dvd is ANNOYING! oh my god, listening to it for six hours makes me want to shoot myself. it's all mellow and they play that wretched ben lee song, 'catch my disease' every four or five songs! plus, they also play that new song he made 'just for aerie and just for you' that is so cheesy it's not even funny.. the song alone is bad enough, but the music video with the aerie models and him singing and dancing is just too much. granted there are some good songs on there.. i like the ones by the postal service, waking ashland and daniel powter, to name a few (out of the five or six i like :-p), and even the sia song w/ the pictures would be good if it also wasn't repeated every few songs. i know that they made this dvd to be soft and mellow and appeal to the girls, but seriously, couldn't they have added at least a few upbeat songs? i actually think that they just put crazy by gnarles barkley on there for the guys, because it totally doesn't fit in with the rest of the dvd. the first day we played it, i already was sick of it a few hours into my shift. i can't believe we have to play this crap for the next month.. :-p

some songs i hope make the next dvd (some of these are ones we've already played, but they're soooo good..)
