Need help finding a song

The song was made around 1999 or at least that is when is was pretty big but for a short time. The song is either pop or country i think. Been a while. A guy is singing the song. All I remember is it is about a night they were driving and i believe it was raining. Tires were squeaching and him and his girlfriend got into a wreck. He holds her and she ends up dieing in his arms i believe. If you have any idea I would appreciate the help. Thanks.
