sorry about the bad quality. but since i dont know the author or the title to the song, i am forced to wait until i randomly hear it. i caught it on a tv show a while ago and got a recording of it... i think the quality is enough for you to tell the main melody... thanks in advance!!!
I definitely know this song. It's a late 60s or 70s Motown tune with lyrics. The brass you hear was, for lack of a better term, an instrumental chorus of the song. Very popular. This one will be figured out.
I must give credit to another person for the correct answer. It's funny because I've been looking for this myself. About the only thing I could remember besides that catchy little instrumental part was the fact that it was a very common song on a.m. radio leading into the newscast at the top of the hour. On one of the downloads I just did, embedded in the title it says "Anchorman Theme" I hated that song back then.
"Grazing in the Grass" by Hugh Masekela
It was also a hit by Friends of Distinction
I can't believe you had that clip with just enough data on it for my "nightmare" to end. Thank you so much.
excellent!!! thank you so much for solving this! (or whoever you enlisted to solve this)...
its such a funny title isnt it? its about cows!
hugh masekela... thank you thank you!
i just read the lyrics. heh. i guess its not about cows at all.
Cows. That's a good one. Enjoy your song.
