I have a song I heard several years ago and it's still stuck in my head. The problem is all I have is not very helpful descriptions, but ill try anyway.

The video clip is set on a beach, the singer I think is dark or foreign. Her words are hard to understand because her voice is pretty high pitched. A symbol flash's the screen throughout the video, I think its black. It was bout late 90's when I saw it on tv. It sounds like at the end of the song shes saying "I am freeeeeeee" she repeats it like 4 times, but with quite long pauses between each one. It's not I am free as iv looked for that, so its something with an eee that drags on at the end. I know this sounds stupid but what the heck. Thanks.

After a little more research, Stephanie Says' real name is Stephanie Winter and she is very caucasian. So she's probably not who you're looking for.

my mate figured out the song, but he dosent know any lyrics aswell, he reckons she was like black and it was early 90's, and sounds like she's saying set me freeeee but I doubt it. He said he guess it's classed dance
