    MORE

    Έχω πρόβλημα μεγάλο
    I HAVE A PROBLEM, (A) BIG (ONE)
δεν μου φτάνεις θέλω κι άλλο
CAN'T HAVE ENOUGH OF YOU, I WANT MORE
    Έχω πρόβλημα σου λέω
    I HAVE (A) PROBLEM, I TELL YOU
    μόνη κάθομαι και κλαίω
I AM SITTING (ALL) ALONE AND I CRY

    Και όταν λείπεις, όταν λείπεις
AND WHEN YOU ARE "ABSENT", WHEN YOU ARE ABSENT
    νιώθω πως μ' εγκαταλείπεις
I FEEL LIKE YOU ARE DESERTING ME
    Και όταν φέυγεις, όταν φέυγεις
AND WHEN YOU ARE "GONE", WHEN YOU ARE GONE
    νιώθω οτι μ' αποφέυγεις
I FEEL YOU ARE AVOIDING ME
    νιώθω οτι μ' αποφέυγεις
I FEEL YOU ARE AVOIDING ME
τι να κάνω πες μου σε παρακαλώ
WHAT IS THERE TO DO, TELL ME IF YOU PLEASE

    Έχω πρόβλημα μεγάλο
    I HAVE A PROBLEM, (A) BIG (ONE)
δεν μου φτάνεις θέλω κι άλλο
CAN'T HAVE ENOUGH OF YOU, I WANT MORE

    Σ'έχω ανάγκη πίστεψε με
I AM IN NEED OF YOU, BELIEVE ME
    το εννοώ δεν υπερβάλλω
I MEAN IT, I AM NOT EXAGERATING
και όσο πιο πολύ σε έχω
AND THE MORE I "HAVE" YOU
τόσο θέλω να 'χω κι άλλο
THE MORE I WANT TO HAVE MORE
    κι άλλο, κι άλλο
    AND MORE AND MORE

Το μόνο που ζητάω απ'τη ζωή μου πλέον
THE ONLY THING I AM ASKING FROM MY LIFE ANYMORE
είναι να έχω εσένα λιγάκι επιπλέον
IS TO HAVE YOU A LITTLE BIT MORE
Το μόνο που ζητάω, την προσευχή όταν κάνω
THE ONLY THING I ASK, WHEN I AM MAKING MY PRAYER
είναι να έχω εσένα λιγάκι παραπάνω
IS TO HAVE YOU A LITTLE BIT MORE

    Και όταν λείπεις, όταν λείπεις
AND WHEN YOU ARE "ABSENT", WHEN YOU ARE ABSENT

    Talking

Well jeeze if you know of a way that someone can learn it in 6 months or less please pass on any tips. My parents speak it but have always used it as the "secret language" when us kids shouldn't hear something they wanted us to hear.. You would think we as kids would be smarter and learn the language so we knew what they were talking about but no. Lazy lazy and we never learned the language. Now my sisters and I are kicking ourselves for not learning it and now are trying to get back to our native language. I would love to learn the language behind their back and then surprise the hell out of them one day and just be speaking it. Any tips would be helpful. - Kristen

Where you from Kristen? (I mean where you live, LOL, sounds insane to ask!).

Isn't there any lessons you can take where you are? Or you are looking for the "magical" way..?

I am from Upstate NY. They have greek school at another church but not mine. I kinda want to do this on my own without anyone knowing. I don't know if there are any other greeks on here but if there are then you know how word travels fast. If I go to the one church I give it less than an hour and my parents will find out. :-(

OK! I supposed you have already registered on the site. (In case you haven't registered yet and you have problems with this, tell me).

Now, after you login(you'll have to type the username and password twice untill your username will appear up in the right corner, above the language selection box. I don't know why twice, but this is what happens to me) ). After you login, the page will look differently and you'll have 2 courses there: Greek 101(elementary) and Greek 102(elementary).
At this moment you'll use the first one. So click on it! Another page will open with all the 15 lessons from this module. Start with Lesson 001. Ignore the "Notes for Lesson 001", they have a lot of mistakes. Don't use those!! Go to the "Discussion Forum for Lesson 001" (it's the last option from Lesson 001), click on it and search for "Transcript for lesson 1" By Aren Bron (remember this name, he is the one who did the "dirty" job of re-writing all the lessons again, in order for them to be correct). Download the lesson from his post.
At this point you have the written document in your computer.
Now you need the audio file. Come back to the Lesson 001 module and click on the first option "audio for lesson 001" . Click on it and another window will open. Click again on the "Listen to audio lesson 001". You must have the programme " Real player" installed. If you don't have it, download it from the same page.
Now the audio is prepared and the written document is opened. You listen to the lesson while reading it and ...start learning!!!
There is another possiblity of listening to the files, and that is to be found at this address: Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) . I advise you to use the audio from here, as they have a better sound. But I had an unpleasant surprise to see that here one audio is not complete. In cases like this you use the one from kypros. Those are complete.

Now, what I told you for the first leson, goes the same for all of them. Download all Aren Bron's transcripts in your computer and then listen to the audio files while reading.

I hope I was managed to make myself clear. In case I failed to do that, let me know and I'll try again!

    And...good luck!
