I tried contacting the production company (A&M Digital Video Productions) that created the video via its website but it was a deadend. I did find a phone number you can try (206-285-7087).

This was solved this morning on another forum. Its called "When Angels Fly" by Tena Clark and it is included on the Victoria's Secret cd titled "Heavenly-Music For Angels". Hope it was solved in time for you Timber!![]()
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually saw some reference to the Victoria's Secret CD (but not the song title) as well as the 'Lunesta' sleeping pill ad and finally music from the game 'Dreamfall' from a forum I found on Google.
I went to Amazon.com last night and found 2 Victoria's Secret CD's but they had no song titles or music samples like they usually offer. I can't believe it; so close but yet so far away! I am so happy. And yes Logan01 it's not to late!
Thank you all,
Timber
Boy this one is hard to find. I have managed to find a track list, but no samples i'm afraid, at least you know the song's you're looking for is on it. You can view it Here (scroll down the page a bit) ...it appears to be the same cd as the one on Amazon
Hope this helps![]()
Its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice

Hey Mumbles. I've placed an order with Amazon for a 'new' cd from a reseller. I'm hoping to get a new one otherwise it'll have to be used which will probably be okay. I'm waiting for a comfirmation.
OK y'all, I'm a little confused and gonner play the part of doubtin' Thomas...![]()
logan1, What convinced you that "When Angels Fly" by Tena Clark is the same song as in the "Jennifer and Ryan" video? The only forums I found that mention this song (see following links) appear to be talking solely about the music used in the Lunesta commericial.
Musipedia: Discussion Boards
Lunesta commercials - Dreamfall connection? - The Longest Journey Forums
Also, it may just a coincidence, but the third track on the Heavenly CD is called "Luminous Wings" which a perfect description of the Lunesta "logo" (a lunar moth). Without being able to listen to the CD, "Luminous Wings" would get my vote as the primary candidate for the Lunesta song.
Heavenly-Music For Angels (tracks)
01. When Angels Fly
02. Gennory (Face of an Angel)
03. Luminous Wings
04. Ever After
05. Passionata
06. Heaven Sent
07. Daydreaming
08. Love Surrendered
09. Heavenly
10. Obsession
It's been too long since I have heard the Lunesta commerical. Do you think it sounds like music from the "Jennifer and Ryan" video? If so, is it the first few bars or the entire body of the J&R video that reminds you of the Lunesta song?
When I listen to the "Jennifer and Ryan" video, the first few bars (after the intro for the A&M Digital Video Productions logo) appears to be "different" from the long music piece we have been a-trying to identity.
Hopefully, Timber's purchase will be able to resolve this quandry.
Please Mister Postman, look and see

I downloaded the song which happened to have all the VS wording in the title. I don't have any memory of the Lunesta song therefore I can't comment I do recall the forum I was reading made reference to the Lunesta ad as secondary. For example, if I said, "that song was also used in the Lunesta ad".. The metadata with the downloaded song has the tune as track #1 and the year of the album as 2002 along with the title, bit rate, etc. I too ordered the cd for a princely sum of about 4.50 including shipping. When I put out that kind of cash you can bet I have done my homework!
PS: The downloaded version does not have that beginning or ending piece I referred to a while back when this thread began.

I really hate to brag on myself; the beginning and ending of the wedding video song was indeed ripped from Shania Twain's "From This Moment". I just downloaded a Shania Twain & Bryan Adams (never knew she performed a duet version) cut and it is part of that version.
atmaster, I went back and reviewed the "musipedia" posting which ultimately ended with this song "discovery". It appears you are correct in that the poster was referring to the song for the Lunesta ad. I understand your argument logic and at the same time I find it interesting that the issue was resolved with all musipedia parties accepting "When Angels Fly" as the sought after song. Not remenbering the Lunesta song, I have googled beyond reason trying to find any song / Lunesta connection and thus have come up with zilch. With your keen sense of observation, I must side with you regarding the Lunesta ad until that time (doubtful) which proves otherwise. That one reference Timber made to a video game titled "Dreamfall" appears interesting from the perspective that their website includes a free 100mb download of their soundtrack. I wish I could find out if all the soundtrack is similar to the Tena Clark piece because then I would download it. I really don't feel like downloading 100mb of music which may be outside the bounds of my listening pleasure. Here's the url if anyone is interested. The Longest Journey - Music
logan01, I must apologize, sometimes I'm a little too direct in what I say or write. I definitely wasn't questioning your skills, just thought someone else might have given all of us a bum steer. From day one of joining this website, I have always been impressed with the amount time and effort you put into "doing your homework". (it's getting mushy here, so I'm gonner stop now with the kiss and make-up stuff...)
I must also admit that I have been jumping to the bottom of this thread and I overlooked your earlier comment about the Shania Twain music. For what it's worth, I believe you're right on target that the J&R video sampled and spliced pieces of "From This Moment" on to the beginning and end of the music that is becoming the bane of my existence.
I too have google the internet to a point of near exhaustion and cannot find even a 30 second sample of the Lunesta song or the "When Angels Fly" song by Tena Clark. (Come on, Mr. Postman!)
Not to confuse things further but I thought I was on to a really "hot lead" last night when I stumbled across another song called "When Angels Fly" by Tony Ransom & The Heavenly Light Orchestra. It is hawking itself on the internet as "The Most Requested Father/Daughter Wedding Dance Song in America". But when I listened to the provided sample, it wasn't the one we're looking for.
I guess what is just killing me about this seemly impossible quest, is that I just cannot shake the similarities I hear in the music from the J&R video and the main theme form the "Band of Brothers" mini-series (I have the DVD box set). HBO's website will let you listen to some of the music from "BoB" including the main theme (see attached link). However, I'm a-gettin a bad feeling that after you and Timber receive your extravagant purchases, I gonner have a big plate of crow to eat.

I in no way took your reply in a negative way. I was just trying to be thorough in my response. I have the upmost respect for your knowledge, skills, and abilities and appreciate your questioning any matter which you feel deserves questioning. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind as to the "2" sources in the wedding video music. I too ran across that "The Most Requested Father/Daughter Wedding Dance Song in America" site yesterday. I'm fixing to listen to that BoB link you provided and if I feel it has "merit" you'll be the first to know. Where is dear, sweet Mumbles when we need her so?
Having just listened to the main theme, which I have by the way, I believe this is the deal. I preface the following by stating I have no musical background other than a great appreciation for music itself. The BoB music and the Angel song appear to have linkage in style and substance by using choral, stringed instruments, and wind instruments in simultaneous harmony producing a synergy which finalizes in their (each song) independent sounds having such similarities. Please excuse me now, I'm late for my harp lesson.![]()
You guys amaze me. I appreciate your interest in this quest.
I seem to have succesfully made the purchase for a 'new' cd from a reseller through Amazon as I did receive a confirmation. Unfortunately, I requested standard shipping, can't change it and may have to wait several weeks. Oh well..........
Your comments about 'Band of Brothers' gave me a laugh. Weeks ago when it was first suggested I researched it and about a dozen other 'War Movies' as I could just picture (and hear) the song being used in a fallen soldiers memorial scene. It does sort of fit don't you think?
Anyway, if my video wasn't so personal I would post it for all to see. It's going to be a rich montage, pastiche if you like, of our homes containing landscapes and elevations, videos of old framed photographs, still lifes, blooming flowers (this spring), and the family pets.
My father, a WWII vet was a musician and had his own jazz band after the war until he married my mom. Picture pans of their old photographs wherein I plan to weave in bits of his favorite songs of the era using the 'When Angels Fly' as the continuing theme. Then picture pans of my sister and her husband's photographs doing something similar with their music favorites from the 70's (I'm thinking) and again referencing back to 'Angels'.
And so it goes with my humble abode with my favorite song(s). It's to be a loving tribute to my parents, or just a way for me to say I love them. I've videod and edited this piece a 100 times in my head to perfection. So maybe this explanation will give you guys (and gals) a better understanding of why this has been so important to me. And why I think this song will tie it all together so well.
Thanks all,
Timber
I felt you were on a personal quest and were not to be denied. I am so thankful that you took the time to explain your reason because I wanted to ask 1,000 times over what your project was all about. I doubt your cd will take very long and if it looks like it is send me a pm and I'll overnight you mine. This is exactly what these forums should all be about. Your family is very lucky to have you and I wish you the best in this endeavor.![]()
For those of you who may be interested; I just found two independent sources indicating that the "other" song "Luminous Wings" is also performed by Tena Clark. She must be one heck of a composer/artist. It was about to drive me over the edge. Note: I have never seen Tina spelled with an "e".
Timber, I have been playng this musical trival "game" every day with myself for the last 35 years (somehow that didn't sound quite as pathetic in my head as it does in print). Only once before has it provided any real benefit to anyone other than myself. Often it's seems to be a self-indilgent waste of time (as my wife nods her head vigorously). It is nice to know that my hobby has been a positive albeit minor player in your noble tribute to your family. Your efforts to create this memorial are indeed a testiment and tribute to the labour of love that your parents have invested in you. Please let me know if you get any advanced notice on your departure date from this life 'cause I wanna hitch a ride on your coattails through the Pealy Gates.
