Autumn leaves fall down
Pathways covered with beautiful colours
And I see your face in this bittersweet cold
And memories in which time has grown old
Where we sat upon the swings
Kicking leaves high into the sky
And watching them fall down
Never crashing to the ground like we did

I miss the nights we spent laughing
And the times I held you tight
As we watched all of our worries
Disappear into the night

But I can’t begin to understand

Raindrops crash to the floor
Reminds me of the times before the tears
And the cries of anguish screaming through me
Never easing, teasing the enemy
Can you remember the times we looked to the stars
And sung the only song that was ours?
