Default Question about song; fourth of July

hello, just was wondering if someone could help identify this song I am looking for, It will be hard to indentify because I don't have alot of information about it.

I can tell the song is from the 70's or early 80's because of the vocal quality, one of word statements in the lyrics is "fourth of July", i think i may have heard the entire statement which is 'all people now fourth of July' but thats just what I heard which i think is misheard. Also the song I know is not by James Taylor.

    Thanks

The song theme reminds me of "Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival but it does not contain the "4th of July" lyric.

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Ooh, they're red, white, and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the Chief"
They point the cannon right at you

The only 1970's song I can think of that does mention "the Fourth of July" is "Saturday in the Park" by Chicago

    Saturday in the park,
I think it was the Fourth of July
    Saturday in the park,
I think it was the Fourth of July
    People dancing, people laughing,
    A man selling ice cream
    Singing Italian songs
Can you dig it (yes, I can)
And I've been waiting such a long time
    For Saturday
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

Another wild guess would be "Fourth Of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)" by Bruce Springsteen

I was looking for the same song tonight and I ran across your post. The song you were looking for was Lake of Fire by Nirvana.
