Question Solved: Does anyone know this song?

More than 38 years back (back in India, when I was still younger!) I heard this lyric, running something like this -
"When I llisten to the sound of violin,
    Long before,
    It begins..."
I think it was sung by the Legend Julie London (I could be wrong; was it Julie Holland?)
It was so sweet and kind of sad. I loved that.
Does it sound familiar to anybody? Can you please help me with correct info? Can I get it?

Well... I googled the lyrics and first - Pu*sycat Dolls - Sway comes out
Then I ran into a youtube video with an entire story about the song... so.. seems the one you are looking for should be by Julie London

    SWAY

When marimba rhythms start to play
Dance with me, make me sway
Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore
Hold me close, sway me more

Like a flower bending in the breeze
Bend with me, sway with ease
When we dance you have a way with me
Stay with me, sway with me

Other dancers may be on the floor
Dear, but my eyes will see only you
Only you have the magic technique
When we sway I go weak

I can hear the sounds of violins
    Long before it begins

Make me thrill as only you know how
Sway me smooth, sway me now

Other dancers may be on the floor
Dear, but my eyes will see only you
Only you have the magic technique
When we sway I go weak

I can hear the sounds of violins
    Long before it begins

Make me thrill as only you know how
Sway me smooth, sway me now
    You know how
Sway me smooth, sway me now

Sway is the English version of "Quién Será", a 1953 Latin pop song with a mambo beat written by Mexican composer and bandleader Pablo Beltrán Ruiz. In 1954 the English lyrics were written by Norman Gimbel and recorded by Dean Martin (this recording reached number fifteen on the Billboard magazine best-seller chart[1] and number six on the UK chart). Smile Sway

    I am overwhelmed!
I had heard this song a few times many years back. I had moved to Bombay in 1970 for a job after I finished College. My Landlord had a Spool Tape Recorder which he bought secondhand and had inherited a spool with a lot of songs. He used to play it often and this one song he played oftener. I knew nothing of Western - Pop/Rock-n-Roll/Jazz/Country or whatever - Music or Musicians or Artists (frankly, I still don't know) but this one song had enchanted me. But soon thereafter I moved out. Eventually, I forgot all but a few words, and remembered the tune. I now recall, after your reply, 'make me sway...' were the key words. But I had forgotten them completely in the meanwhile. After a while all that I remembered was 'when I listen to the sound of violin, long before, it begins...' and that's all and even that was incorrect.
But the tune kept haunting me, on and off. With whatever little residual memory I had, I searched the song, when I happened to visit Europe and US a few times. Strangely it did not occur me to ask some connoisseur- may be I was too shy to admit my ignorance. I did a few searches on web, but perhaps my key words were wrong. It always eluded me.
After I retired from professional career, I started planning to do things that 'I always wanted to do'. And I realized the strong urge to locate the song and hear it once again, revisit those old times, live a few moments in the nostalgia. I chanced upon this wonderful Website, www.allthelyrics.com.
I thank you so much for the information and it means so much to me! I was able to visit websites, Rhapsody for example, and hear it- the one sung by Julie London- so many times. I wish to download it sooner.
Believe me; it is beyond words to describe how much joy it has brought to me- made my day! Thanks again!!

Oh I am so glad my search made you happy surkishan!

I tried to find the song on BearShare and some users have it but it's not available at the moment.. The only version I managed to download is an annoying remix with Julie London and Dean Martin
I will definitely try later and then give you a DL link

    PS
    thanks Logan

Thank you so much, I got the Link and am so happy!
[Incidentally, I did some searching on my own for 'Sway' sung by Dean Martin, (based on the very detailed info given by you in the first reply). I heard that lyric and want to admit now: I liked Dean Martin's Rendition more (I know this kind of comparison is unfair, but could not help it)]
