    Default Butterfly

In the 60's there was a song called "Butterfly" by a male singer. Paul Mauriat included it on one of his albums as well.

I was wondering if anyone knows who sang the original .

The following artists recorded a song called "Butterfly" in the 1960's:
Paul Williams, Lem Winchester, Wolfe Tones and the Hollies.

Five Man Electric Band also recorded a song called "Butterfly" in 1970.

Yes it was - thanks - mind you after googling around the lyrics are in German - but I am positive the way the chorus is written, thats the one I was thinking of.

I have found a French and English version of this song by Daniel Gerard - it is the song I was enquiring about which is great. But I feel another artist recorded this same version. I keep thinking of someone with a Barry White type voice.

The only male artists that I could find that covered Danyel Gerard's song, "Butterfly" are Eddy Arnold, Jim Sullivan and Jim Ed Brown.
