Ok, how about this one. I think it was the late 70's when I used to listen to this song (I was born in 72). I don't remember all the lyrics, and I just recently heard it for the first time in years in a relatively recent Chinese movie during the opening scene (if I remembered the name of the movie, I could look for music credits"
its a slow song, with not a lot of instrument--mostly singing, male lead.
Anyway, the lyrics I sort of remember go like:
"if I could,
make you smile....."
something like
"you're growing old,
growing old,
growing old..."
or was is "throwing stones,
throwing stones,
throwing stones."
and about 3/4 of the way through the song the singer and backup singer
sing
"dee dee dee dee" in the same harmony as the lyrics.
That's the best I can do
I wish I could convey my memory better.
It couldn't be the Bee Gee's could it?

, thx!
