    If the title of the track is accurate, this is from the 1934 film "The Gay Divorcee" with Fred Astaire. IMDB shows the song as being written by Cole Porter, and performed by Fred Astaire, though the track you posted doesn't have any singing on it.

    Sounds like a mono track, which would be appropriate for a 1934 film, but the quality is awfully good. Either it cleaned up really well, or it is taken from a later re-recording by someone else. Have you watched the film to see if this song sounds exactly like the one in the MP3?

    If it is from the film, and not a later re-recording, it's entirely possible that the orchestra was one hired, and possibly even assembled by the filmmakers just for the movie. So it may not be a big name band or anything like that -- just contract musicians.
