An unknown frsench song

Hi everybody,
It is a long time that I am seeking for a french song and its lyric ,I do not remember mujch from that but know the words "ma gittarra" or "ma gittare" was in the lyric of the song which a man performed with one guitar and some orchestra accompaniment.
If anyone has that song and its information please advise me.

Are you sure it is French? Makes me think of a very old song by Freddy Quinn... (who happens to be German)

Thanks for your care,yes I am sure that it was in french langugae,I know some german and I positively say that it was not german and not old as much as you say.
I can hear it in my ears but since I do not know french very well I can not wrote the lyrics.
You will be highly appreciated if can provide further details.

Edit: Sorry I forgot to tell one thing,it may also be an spanish song I am not sure but know is not german.

I know one french song which contains in lyrics: "ma gitarre", but there are thousands of songs like that unfortunately I suggest trying this one : Georges Moustaki "Il est trop tard" altough i doubt whether it is the one you are looking for...

Would be great if you could say who is the singer, or just write more about the lyrics? Even if it's not written in proper french, it could help to recongnize it! Or maybe just to get sure if it is french or rather spanich
