tko - which/who
ta - this

dobar - good
dan - day
what? - croatian-što?, serbian-šta?
što also means why?
zašto? - why?
zato što... - because...
Tko is croatian version of who, serbs say Ko (without t)

for example, how do you say:
i'm listening
i'm working

the exact question is how can you tell if someone does something regularly or it's doing it just now????

ISTO means THE SAME (It's the same child - To je isto dete)
Maybe it can be translated sometimes in also/too...
but TAKODJE means ALSO/TOO
Volim, not vIlim (I love you - Volim te)
This - ovo
Volim ovo vino - I love/like this wine

Only for men - pevo is sometimes used but that's not grammatical, when you write that you must put ' - pev'o and you don't need to use that...

For example

Voleti-love,like

You just cut TI and put O for singular, LI for plural
Ja sam vole-o (I loved)
Ti si vole-o...
Mi smo vole-li

For women LA for singular, LE for plural

Ja sam vole-la (I loved)
Ti si vole-la
Mi smo vole-le

You know that from context...

Every summer I go to Greece - Svako leto idem u Grčku
This summer I'm going to Greece - Ovo leto idem u Grčku

Every summer, this summer - you know from that does he doing it just now or it's something regulary. It easier belive me
And it's the same in serbian and croatian...

great! less things to learn It will be difficult to get used to that though. Both in spanish and english which are the languages i speak fluently the present continuous exists and is formed the same way (with the verb 'to be').

That means literaly, but it's not good
You can say Razumijete Hrvatski ali ne tako dobro - You understand Croatian but not very well
or Ne razumijete Hrvatski tako dobro - You don't understand Croatian very well

Razumijete i govorite Hrvatski ali ne tako dobro - You understand and speak Croatian but not very well
or Ne razumijete i ne govorite Hrvatski tako dobro - You don't understand and don't speak Croatian very well.

Gdje JE Kanada ulica (Better - gdje je ulica Kanada?) - Where is Canada Street?
Gdje je banka? - Where is the bank?
Nije ovdje ali tamo je (or just Nije ovdje, tamo je) - It is not here it is over there

Ali - but

The bank is there - Banka je tamo
The cat is on the tree - Mačka je na drvetu
