Ms. Thibert sings a song titled; "Changer." Where in the world can I get an English translation of this beautiful song? My 9-year-old daughter has fallen in love with this artist. I'm making a commemorative video for my girl with this tune as the underlying soundtrack. I'd simply like to explain the meaning of the song to her. It sounds like "changes" to me, which my little girl is certainly going through, but before I commit to the score I'd like to know what the lovely Ms. Thibert is singing of...

I've searched endlessly as well and cannot find the lyrics to that particular song! There are other songs by the same title, but no matches.

Ms. Thibert's version was cowritten by Eric Létourneau, and Luc DeLarochelière, neither name of which generated much in the way of search results.

this 'on' is an impersonal word that can mean 'one' or 'I' or 'we'. I kept the impersonal form by translating it as "one" but she could as well be speaking only of herself in the song instead of making statements about 'things as such' ("Indeed, I do nothing but change" instead of "Indeed, one does nothing but change").

But I liked this version better - some wisdom in a society that has been made so static and rigid despite - or because of? - the unprecedented progress
