We're getting married next year in a castle setting and are looking for a good song for our first dance with imagery from the renaissance or medieval days, like castles, knights or anything like that. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! Thanks much!

I suggest you to search for songs from Blackmore's Night ("Shadow of the moon", "All because of you" etc.).
They are one of my favourite bands and almost all of their songs are medieval-themed!When I'm with you, you're killing me. When I'm not, I'm dying... -
OMG, I do love Blackmore's Night! I like a lot of their songs, but haven't found one that's perfect. All Because of You is too fast-paced and I'm not sure if Shadow of the Moon is quite right for a first dance song? I do love "Waiting Just For You" so it's a possibility...

Hey, racingfan
For something slower (yet also from Blackmores Night), maybe you should lisen to "Be Mine Tonight"!
Lyrics:
Be mine tonight,
We'll travel through all our memories,
In our own little space in time,
You've always been mine...
Through the years,
I feel your love beside me
Through the laughter and the tears,
You've conquered all my fears...
So many stories,
So many treasures,
So much our lives have shared...
We've done it all and we've done it together,
You know I've always cared...
In this heart,
There'll never be another,
You have made my life complete,
Our love is like a dream...
Take my hand,
Nothing can come between us,
We were always meant to be,
Forever, you and me...
In my eyes,
Your face is always before me,
Our souls are now as one...
We've only just begun...When I'm with you, you're killing me. When I'm not, I'm dying... -
Tenpole Tudor - "Swords Of A Thousand Men"
Deep in the castle and back from the wars
Back with my lady and the fires burned tall
Hoorah went the men down below
All outside was the rain and snow
Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hoorah, Hoorah, Hoorah, Yea
Over the hill went the swords of a thousand men
We had to meet the enemy a mile away
Thunder in the air and the sky turned grey
Assembling the knights and their swords were sharp
There was not a hope in your English hearts
When you Hear our drums, hear them sound
We're gonna fight until we have won this town
Hoorah, Hoorah, Hoorah, Yea
Over the hill went the swords of a thousand men
When the knights come along at the end of the day
Some were half-alive and some had run away
But Hear our triumph, hear our shout
We'll probably drink a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hoorah, Hoorah, Hoorah, Yea
Over the hill went the swords of a thousand men
Hoorah, Hoorah, Hoorah, Yea
Hoorah, Hoorah, Hoorah, Yea - yea
Hoorah, Hoorah, Hoorah, Yea
Hoorah, Hoorah, Hoorah, Yea - yea
Hoorah, Hoorah, Hoorah, Yea
Hoorah, Hoorah, Hoorah, Yea - yea
Hoorah, Hoorah, Hoorah, Yea
Hoorah, Hoorah, Hoorah, Yea - yeaBana Göra Hava Hoş -
