Its tarab?
I have some problem whit this kind of music because i know that the tarab music is sing whit the traditional arab instrument,so when i hear a live song i think its tarab.
How you know when a song is tarab?
I love this gen of music.
O and i want to that the song that i post up is very popular in Romania ,almost everyone have this song in the phone.

how do you that a song is tarab? when the song is like 50-75 minutes long and the singer is like enjoying it and no one from the audience's saying a word.

lol,maybe 7,8 minute,but there is tarab song whit a leght of 4 minute like beteghi sirtak-Nancy ajram.

yeah you're talking about modern classics, cause now days they can't broadcast a song for more than 1 or 1.5 minuets.

But that 1 or 1,5 minute is magic.

well, the reason why they sing for 1-1.5 minutes is because they can't sing any longer or they'll start to sound like crap.

take for example sabbah fakhry; he for instance had to sing 10 hours straight non stop and he broke the record of longest concert and its recorded in guinness book. thats what a singer is, not those who sings for a minute and then take 45 minutes break.

so what is the 'tarab' genre exactly ?

The most know singers of tarab طرب :Assalah,george wassuf,and nancy ajram(songs from 2009).
Tarab is the music in which the singers try to show how god is there voice and they repet the same words in diferite time.
Tarab is sing whit traditional arab instruments.
