This is just a typing etiquette. And if we have to be exact, you're supposed to leave 2 spaces after every punctuation mark that has a dot (i.e --> . ! ? : ... )

По БДС задължително след препинателен знак се оставя разстояние. Изключение прави тирето, когато се използва за сравнителна степен. Така че, да, има такова правило.

Още малко правила за писане, ако не ги знаете. Изключително полезни са за работа с документи. Нека си спестим малко главоболия с иначе така милите чиновнички...

Нов ред се пише с едно натискане на Enter и едно натискане на Tab на следващия ред.

Размерът на буквите трябва да е 14, а шрифтът - Times New Roman

Недопустимо е, когато в края на редовете текстът е "назъбен", затова се използва иконката "подравни", пренасянето (ако има нужда от такова) е задължително.
