haha yeah Azis is a man but he considers himself also a woman :lol I don't believe he's really a gay. It's just an image.I remember he called himslef"it" once -neither man, nor woman...And he looks older cause of her blond(in fact white) hair.

The right word, for Azis I mean, is he. I also consider that it's a matter of image and PR campaign. He's not a gay, but he has been acting that role for over 10 years (when he strated his career for the first time). But who we are to judge a person with different way of thinking, straight or gay and so on. We're not God. It's beyond our powers. He's just great! He's made a lot for the Chalga music. I think that He's its founder and father.

well to call Azis the founder and father is too far i think And he's not doing the best for the image of bg with his "maane"- like singing typical for the Arabic music. We're not an oriental country. This isn't our culture and most Azis's songs are stolen.I think Toni Dacheva and Gloria desrve more being called"founders" of that style

Tedinkyyy -> I agree with you that Preslava's texts aren't very sophisticated but they're easy to translate for me ... besides that "da ne bi da si drogiran ... when I tried to translate it, it would be something like "that wouldn't you are drugged" haha what actually don't make any sense for me xD
And about Azis ... well I also thought that he is like around 45 And I thought he was gay because I read somewhere that he is married with a guy ... and I don't think that a straight guy would marry another guy haha but I don't know how is it in Bulgaria ... just kidding

PS: And I really love spring chalga songs like "ne me prinuzhdavay", "men si tarsil", "chakam si dozata" and so on and so on thanks to I'm unstoppable :P

Okay Lady Diamond, Okay, it's just perfect. Now, it's time Propel to show his own picture. And after that - to plan the date of the wedding I'm kidding. It depends on the both of you. I mean if you get on very well together (if you like each other ), we (all I mean) will keep our fingers crossed for you, the both. Love has no limits

You're welcome at any time Adrian. If you sign up in Skype soon, I will send you 3 - 4 new hit songs, too About Azis ... I think all that stuff around him is PR only (actually, he hasn't married for a guy 'cause it isn't permited a wedding between 2 persons from/with one and the same sex by our legislation). It's true that he's an effeminate guy, but that can't make him a gay (well, sometimes it can ). Anyway, The real father of the chalga music is Rado Shisharkata, its mathers - Sashka Vaseva, Gloria and Toni Dacheva, but the father of the new generation chalga music is Asiz.

haha. oh yes, i like that song as well!

but she cannot sing, and i agree with you, you can tell her voice is edited . hah
but yet, practically, every singer in the world's voice is edited at some point.

Is just amazing ... how chalga changed throughout the years When we begin with "Radka Piraka" and "Oh, baniya", then we pass through Azis and Ivana, and end with Andrea "the Wallpaper" and her new song Btw, I don't remember who said that Azis was singing kind of orientally which isn't part of our culture ... but I would add that the whole chalga thingy's not part of our culture, but of the Turkish culture, which we borrowed eventually :]

I think our Bulgarian and Serbian chalga is a mix of Turkish,Arabic,Greek and pop music. But all the Balkanic music is a mixture of many styles.Often one song is sang by singers from diffrent countries.I'm not against the covers.Actually every cover makes the song sound in a different way.
