Solved: old jazz song

ok, can someone please help me with this. i heard a song by gary bartz ntu troop yesterday and I think the song is by them but I can't find it anywhere. I might be completely wrong but the singer sounds a lot like the singer of the band i just mentioned.

lyrics are something like this....

its like an older jazz(?) song or psychedelic jazz....I haven't heard it in a while so I can't entirely remember. but any help is much appreciated!!
