Sounds like...

I have searched everywhere to find out the title of this song but have had no luck at all.
It is kind of like those moby songs he recorded using older black singers( from the collected field recordings of Alan Lomax) on the album Play.
I used to hear it on the radio but can't recall the title or artist.
It starts out with an older black man singing what is a sampled chorus I guess. It then changes to a moby-like ambient or techno like sound.
I'm sure it's NOT Moby.

Thanks, but that wasn't it. I have been through most of the moby songs and though the song I'm looking for is similar to the moby recordings I mentioned, I don't think he recorded it.
The song goes somthing like this:
Starts out with what sounds like a older R&B or blues singer singing somthing like:
"I been heartbroke before" or "I've been knocked down before" or somthing like that.
A keyboard-driven part then starts with a younger guy singing. I dont recall any lyrics for that part.
The chorus has the older singer on it singing the same way as the intro.
It was on the radio in the late 80's or the 90's.
