Hmmm... There are some things about the 90s that I did like but I preferred the 00s. I didn't like the fashion of the 90s. I cringe when I see a lot of clothes and haircuts from that decade.

Modern day? It depends on your country's political status, and the overall atmosphere... Am I right?

I never experienced any of the 80s first hand so that doesn't make it as bad for me as the 90s.

Same for me... I really haven't much of an opinion on this subject, though...

Steve I was born during the communist regime , (well I was 5 years old when the revolution came ) but I still remember long lines at the shop for bread , the saturday's mornings when I didn't want to go to the kindergarten , the first banana (which I didn't know what is that and i didn't like it, because you've find them very rarely ....) And then the Revolution came ....we were free, no communism.
It was different back then, no messenger , no internet , no cellphones we were playing hide and seek , in the summer hollyday we used to hand out playing until 1 or 2 am cuz it was safer than nowadays......

Hmmm, I see what you mean. But life was simpler without this new technology, wasn't it? I'm not saying that Communist regimes were ideal at all, but the concept of making your own activities and the games that people played outside, rather than staying inside on the computer all day... It kept people healthier, I think.
