    Question Help ID this song, win my gratitude

    It is a song sang by a single vocalist who sounds like Macy Gray, but it isn't her. The only lyrics I remember is"...'cause I'm lonely...." It is driving me nuts!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!

    there are three singers that come to my mind with a Macy Gray-type voice.
    they are:
    - Charlemaine
    - Stephanie Morgan (from Stephanie's Id) and
    - Gabrielle - she sang "Rise" in the 90s; "Every little teardrop" (2007) really sounds like Macy!

    It's a kinda slow, single vocalist like Macy Gray, but not her. The only lyrics I remember for sure is..."because I'm lonely"......PLEASE HELP. IT'S DRVING ME NUTZ!
