Why did Adam not stop Eve from eating the fruit of evil
Led under the tempting, could not see the root
And she shot my heart out, still need a free throw
And all the shouting and arguing ain’t good for the ego
Chorus
And I hit my route southbound
Falling free, my route southbound
And I keep the vision, right round southbound
And I keep feeling right down, southbound
Headed deep, right round Southbound
And I keep the vision, my route southbound
And I keep feeling
And I keep feeling right down, southbound
And I keep the vision, my route southbound
Verse 1
And in everyway I was used
If it was not the movies, it was the shoes
Why did Adam do likewise and eat the fruit
Now sin is in the world, and cheating will subdue a brother, na mean
she eats the fruit of the tree, she eats the fruit the tree
You see while I was loving you, where was me
You were to busy loving yourself
Like you was the problem, And I couldn’t help ya
Money can’t buy happiness, especially not for you
I was trying to be gentile, but look how you treat a Jew
And all my life, my mom’s been telling be to be a gentleman
I treated my girl right, at least not terrible
What she put me through was inhuman, unbearable
And she beat my emotions, and I’m sick of condolence
I paid her compliments, but left my wallet open
That’s when I see
Chorus
And I hit my route southbound
Verse 2
At least we did not have children
I understand how she was feeling
If you ever been in my situation
Where every risk must been taken
The scene that follows
Would have you awaken
She’s too got damn lovable
And I’m too complacent
I ****ed up a long time ago
By being so out of placement
What was I thinking
What was I thinking
What was I thinking
What was I thinking
What was I thinking
She let my heart soak, but did not drain me
Can’t always expect a girl to be your baby
When you treat her more like any girl
Another reason to hate me
Chorus
Verse 3
Well, don’t be a fool
A woman got two hearts
One for love and one for rebuke
Remember you playing a game with evil rules
Yeah, you better take control of your life like Janet
Better go to school before acting
Cause you’re here Mr. Invisible and she’s Mrs. Fantastic
That ain’t no comic book, she got it backwards
And if she not on my side, I would attack her
Instead of being afraid
That's a great story, I'm not sure if it flows but it might if you find the right beat.
If u ask me, it's the best lyric you've posted so far.
Are you really Jewish ? (just wondering)
I agree there, great story and your best so far. I also think it flows a bit better than the rest as well if you ask me. I found i could get the flow MUCH easier and if you found the right beat it could be good. Though, personally i like to have a beat that i like and then write to it 'cos it's easier to flow. That's how i wrote my rap "Moving On" and you can see how that is probably the best flow i've had on lyrics so far
But anyway, i'd rate this one higher than the last one i rated
