help find one song

I'm a bit embarrassed to ask after a song I have so little to go on, but I've always liked it. It's from the late eighties to mid-nineties, sung by a female or female group. A bouncy song, it's about a girl who's nuts about some guy. Lyrics sort of about you should see how she talks about him and she's half out of her mind. But even that's not necessarily totally exact. I only heard it a few times in stores, on tapes with no announcers, so I haven't a clue as to name or group. Thanks for any help. moresusan
