Unable to capture an audio of these two enigmatic songs I turn to you with a written description to decode.
Both songs have female singers and were heard on store audio systems -- so must be somewhat current (less than a year old).
First song sounds a lot like Leigh Nash's (of Six Pence None the Richer) vocal efforts. The song is introduced with, of all things, a mellow synthesized upward sweep of xylophone-like tones and is distinct.
The few lyrics I have may be inaccurately interpreted and include these fragments: "It's a shame, shame, shame...the one before is the same as the last one." Instrumentally there is a, synthesizer again, sounding at times like a rapid french accordion player somewhat.
This is a mood song not a dance song. Good luck!
Song #2.
Lyrics include:
"I'm standing...outside your door" or maybe it's "I'm dancing on this floor and you can't get me off this floor." And followed by maybe "It's my favorite song." The song has few lyrics and repeated with the refrain as best I can perceive as written above. It has a fairly extended fade-out with the singer and guitar(?) sliding down wherein several times the singer gives a "Ouuu-woo"
I will be surprised if either of these two songs can be IDed from these patchy and inconclusive hints.
Thanks!
