Are you sure it wasnt Melhim Zein and they changed the song a bit? I was at a party last night too and they sang 'Allawah' ! The singer repeated the verses a few times and it sounded different.

This song is Alawah and it is by Melhem Zein. I am arabic but I dont know the exact lyrics however I am 100% positive this song is Alawah by Melhem Zein, I own this song and I was in Palestine (my hometown) when it came out.
