SOLVED: The singer/group for a song called "Subway Love"

I heard this a long time ago on a mix tape from a friend's friend, so the lyrics may be a partly wrong. Sorry about that.
I was much younger and didn't understand English that well

It's a cheesy little pop song from the 80s. I've been trying to find this by googling parts of lyrics that I think are right.
I also searched allmusic.com with the song title "Subway Love" but the results are like jazz and hip-hop :P

I found it!! It's by a Dutch boy band called The Shorts. It's from their 1983 album 'Comment Ça Va'.

It was uploaded on youtube on Dec 9, 2010, but I missed it somehow. Here's the link -
