Default 60's song title, help needed please!

All I can keep thinking of lyrically are the words along the lines of "you got me running, running to the edge of time" or something similar. It's reminiscent of early Stones, especially the singer's voice. It's got that same sort of feel and vibe...I know that's not a great deal to go on. Any ideas?

    thanks in advance

    My wild guesses are:

"You Got Me Running" by Otis Rush (1971/76)
I have always thought that Dr John's song, "Right Place, Wrong Time" was heavily influenced by Otis' song.

"Balancing on the Edge of Time" by Country Joe McDonald (1971)
"It Keeps You Running" by The Dobbie Brothers (1976)
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

No, unfortunately none of those are what I have stuck in my head. I realize I don't have much to go on and I may be wildly off with the way i'm trying to recall it...really frustrating! HaHa I appreciate the help greatly though, thank you. If I can recall more i'll post again.

Could it be You got me Runnin' by Def Leppard? Not really 60's, and no running to the end of time, but I'll give it a try
