I heard it years ago so I'm thinking it's possibly from the late 80s to early/mid 90s. It's possibly a love song and it sounds kind of sad but with a sort of optimistic beat. The only line I know goes:
"(And?) I... will never forget you"
The "I" is drawn out like "IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IIIIIIIIIII IIII I" (lol if that makes sense) so that's probably the best clue I can give from such a common phrase. This line seems to be the start of the chorus and it comes up repeatedly.
The singer is male, by the way. Or an extremely masculine sounding woman.
I just heard it in a restaurant yesterday but sadly I was in the middle of an important conversation and couldn't focus enough to listen for more words.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful to hear them.
