Song about a guy who buys a Chevy Truck and gets bitten by an Alsatian dog.....

This morning this song was played on Radio 2.
It was a Country and Western style narrative - the story being told/sung by a guy who after seeing a Chevy Flatbed Pickup advertised at a very low price, goes to see it, and does eventually buy it; but only after getting bitten by the Alsatian a few times....! The key has been lost but a nail starts it up, and it's generally falling to bits etc. etc.
The song ends when the guy is asked how he came by this wreck of a vehicle, whereupon he starts the whole story over again....
Very catchy tune and very amusing lyrics....
Would love to know the title of the song, and who sings it if anyone can help.
