The darkness leaves, the light embraces me
It's hard to see, its piercing entity
It fills my soul with hope
To deal with the fear I cope
Envious as the light, it fades away
Some other place, another time
Familiar face, remembered smile
It brings back times of old
And all the stories we have told
Envious as your face, it fades away
And as the end grows nearer
The faded face in the mirror
Shows contour lines of joy and pain
The pleading eyes grow clearer
And warn the past of the future
And promises clear skies after rain

Title?
I humbly submit the title: "At The Edge of the Moon," or "On The Edge of the Moon."
Were you serious in asking for a title? If so, I'll come back with some other options. FJ -
Other takes: "On the Rim of the Moon," "Moon's Rim," or "Moon Ride," something like that. I think, of course of the distinct "sides" of the moon--one in darkness always, the other in light always . . . and how the transition from the dark to the light would be . . . That is the symbolism I see as I read your heartfelt words.

Don't have a title, but I do have an honest opinion: I like your poem. I felt it.
