Please, please .. if you know the name of this ~1998 progressive trance track, let me know! It's one of my fave old tunes and I'm desperate to it track down.
Over the course of the track, a husky voiced woman speaks the following spoken word lyrics (from a poor quality copy on mix tape):
"A nice warm feeling. And then a sense of openness. And then there were the visuals. And the overwelming urge to laugh. Then it was uncontrollable .. people smiling, extended body parts, bright colourful aura. And the overwelming urge to laugh. The lights, the heat, the strobe, the SWEAT! Lets all live the fantasy. Lets all BE the fantasy."
A bit of Googling turns up "Sweat" by "Stacey Pullen presents Black Odyssey". This seems to be a completely different track tho - it's a raw techno sound and only uses the "The lights, the heat, the strobe, the sweat" part of the lyrics.
The version I love was played about '98 by Pete Tong on UK Radio 1 and was a fairly slow tempo progressive trance/house track. It featured a simple 3-note synth melody that repeat thru most of the track, starting low and muffled and gradually becoming clearer as the track builds.
The "melody" (and overall track feel) was very similar to that on Sleepwalker's "The Pink Zone", which can be heard as the last track of the following mix (the "pan pipe" synth melody at 1:07:38):

I seem to recall after the "Lets all BE the fantasy" bit, the woman laughs several times, her vocal going through an electronic filter that creates a sort of "scatter" echo on her voice.
I'm praying this means something to you and you can point me in the right direction! Any clues, *please* give me a shout: allthelyrics[at]starurl.com
A million thanks in advance, BJ
