I know that feeling. Though, I have to disagree that ignorance is better than knowledge. My favourite part is the bridge and the rhetorical questions. Very good work.

Thank you! You see, I wrote this song because, I've always said I'd rather know the truth and be hurt than be lied to, and yet sometimes that can hurt much more. It also touches on the idea of guilt, and sort of being in a battle with yourself and not feeling you fit in with the world
