Thank you Lady A as always. I have only one question, I can't understand the 'for' in che da sempre sei per me / for you have always been for me, it sounds strange for me.

It's another way to say "because you have always been for me". The literal translation is:
[...] te che da sempre sei per me l’essenziale,
[...] you, the one who since forever is for me...the essential
But for the sake of fluency I think it sounds better like that...just my opinion.
