Someone else will have to fill you in on the above story - "when you see green horses on the wall" - in Romania its an idiomatic phrase about fanciful or impossible things. The nearest Western equivalent literally is "if pigs can fly".

Its not really that incomprehensible a proverb if you stop to think about it!

I know it's some 5 years later, but I'd rather translate it with "castles in the air" "when pigs fly" is usually used to say "never", so in Romanian one would say "la Pastele caiilor" (but that's just what I think)
